Admission Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required with a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA)of 2.0.
- Applicants must complete a criminal background, immunization, and drug screening at the
- student’s expense before being accepted into the program.
- As part of the admissions process, dental assisting student applicants are required to spend 24
- hours of observation time in a general dental office. Two different offices is required. The
- observation time must be documented on the offices’ letterhead.
- Applicants must complete a drug test and criminal background check at the student’s expense,
- before registration.
